Many find it much easier to drink more water throughout the day when it tastes like infused fruit. Detox water is a great replacement for juice and soda as you still get a flavored drink without the added sugar.

What are the Health Benefits of Fruit Infused Water?

Promotes Increased Water Consumption

Adding a little natural flavor to your water can help increase your water consumption. Some benefits of drinking more water include:

  • Maintains blood pressure

  • Delivers oxygen throughout the body

  • Flushes out toxins and body waste

  • Improves physical performance

Weight Loss

Fruit infused water can be disguised as juice, which makes it easy to replace sugary drinks. Removing sugary drinks from your diet is an easy way to kick-start weight loss and a healthy lifestyle. Water is a natural appetite suppressant. It can help to take up space in the stomach, leading to a feeling of fullness and reducing hunger.

Do you ever get that craving to snack throughout the day? It may be a sign that your body is actually thirsty. Try drinking a glass of water first and see how you feel. You may find yourself more satisfied!

Increased Energy Levels

Your brain is strongly influenced by your hydration status. Studies have shown that a decrease in water consumption leads to impaired mood and concentration, and also increased the frequency of headaches.

There is an endless list of creative fruit-infused recipes online. Here are a few of my favorites.
